This Riesling comes from ground zero for fine Australian Riesling, the High Eden subregion. Home to Mountadam and a handful of growers, High Eden is known for its hard, ancient rocky soils - a dry, cold part of the Barossa that produces achingly intense wines. Their Riesling is a stunning wine too - a wild fermented, whole-bunch-pressed and unfined beauty that flows with the delicious honeyed biscuity edges of a mature, dry Riesling, but backed by this unmissable slatey dry palate.
