WINERY INFORMATION Founded in 1946 Alkoomi Wines specialises in the production of intense and flavoursome wines showcasing true varietal characters of the region Vic and Netta Lange purchased the original wine estate in 1946 and eventually passed down to their granddaughter Sandy Hallet Sandy ad her husband Rod took up the role of overseeing the daily functions of the company in 2010 nbsp TASTING NOTES The Petit Verdot grapes used to produce this stunning White Label Ros eacute were harvested during early morning hours destemmed and then crushed The juice was immediately transferred to a tank followed by cold settling and fermentation The resulting blend features a pale salmon pink colour with bright hues enhancing its beautiful appearance A whiff of the wine offers wild strawberry violet floral and fresh herb aromas These fragrances make way for a textured palate presenting cranberry flavours and bright acidity The finish is creamy and refreshing Made for consumption upon release this gorgeous Ros eacute from Alkoomi Wines can be served with foods like eggplant pizza Porterhouse steak and balsamic watermelon feta salad nbsp nbsp
