WINERY INFORMATION The original Alkoomi property was founded by Vic and Netta Lange They named it after the local Aboriginal word alkoomi meaning lsquo a place we chose rsquo Initially they used the property as a mixed grain and livestock farm Vic rsquo s son Merv and his wife Judy decidedto plant the property with grapevines in the year 1971 They established the winery in time for the production of their 1979 vintage nbsp TASTING NOTES Showcasing a brilliant pale gold colour with green hues White Label Late Harvest is a delicate blend of Riesling Semillon and Verdelho grape varieties Mesmerising scents of jasmine and lemon curd form the aromatic bouquet The sweet and luscious palate contains vibrant flavours of Nashi pears Golden Delicious apples and citrus These characters integrate with fine and crisp acidity ending the wine in a cleansing finish accompanied by a fine spritz This delightful white blend has been crafted for immediate consumption It can be served with lemon pound cake lemon cream pie or with a variety of Italian dishes nbsp
