WINERY INFORMATION ANSTED amp CO is winemaker Tobias Ansted rsquo s personal project Tobias makes wine for Heathcote based Tellurian Wines during the day ANSTED amp CO lets him take some risks and try new ideas The aim of this project is to craft wines that reflect their origins - the location the grape varieties used and Tobias rsquo own sense of style TASTING NOTES Poured into a glass this rich and intense wine flaunts a dark red colour A swirl of the glass reveals subtle aromas of gum leaf which effortlessly make way for a medium bodied and fine structured palate containing mixed berry plum and meat characters Peppery spice enhances the silky palate while a gentle touch of toffee completes the array of flavours Balanced by even acidity and combined with fine tannins all the elements end in a long and precise finish Serve it with grilled lamb chops beef dishes or black forest cake
