WINERY INFORMATION Jon Heslop the owner of Witches Falls has been involved in the winemaking industry since the year 1995 starting work as a wine sales representative for Orlando-Wyndham It was during this time that he discovered his passion for wine and decided to become a winemaker In 2003 on and his wife Kim moved to Tamborine Mountain with their two children to start their own wine estate TASTING NOTES The grapes used to produce this wine were imported from select vineyards in the Ballandean district of the Granite Belt region The region enjoys a continental climate with free draining granite soils forming the terrain Fresh and lively this green yellow hued wine gives off fragrances of guava and melon from its attractive nose The palate is clean and refreshing brimming with flavours of guavas and apples Green vegetables oysters and goat cheese are some delightful food accompaniments to this wine
