Well, Luca Maroni is prone to excitement. Maybe that makes him a black kettle and me a black pot, but this is indeed very nice wine. Bolgheri is the land of the original Super Tuscans, or the part of Tuscany where Bordeaux varieties buck the trend of traditional sangiovese territory. Relatively recetly named as its own DOC, now you know when you’re getting a truly original, original Super Tuscan. Let’s head straight to the tasting bench for the verdict at Mofo HQ.
