WINERY INFORMATION Yarra Yering is an internationally acclaimed wine company established by accomplished winemaker Dr Bailey Carrodus in the year 1969 It covers about 28 hectares of grapevines planted at the foot of the Warramate Hills in Gruyere Victoria The brand takes pride in the quality ad individuality of its wines The first vintage of the company was released in 1973 nbsp TASTING NOTES Dry White No1 is a stylish blend of 25 Sauvignon Blanc with 75 Semillon grapes The fruit was hand harvested crushed and basket pressed The juice was then transferred to old French oak barriques to allow primary fermentation as well as malolactic fermentation A whiff of this pale yellow coloured wine offers tangy aromas of pineapple and green apple The luscious and textured palate is dominated by citrus characters as well as an acid tang This exquisite white blend ends in a generous and lengthy finish Crafted as a young wine Yarra Yering Dry White No1 can be cellared for a decade or more It tastes excellent with marinated char grilled seafood prawn ravioli and posh fish pie nbsp
