Vintage Conditions nbsp nbsp A cool and short ripening season with smaller quantities made in the classical cool climate Wynns style Maturation This wine was matured for 12 months with a combination of French and American oak Colour Bright vibrant with purple hues Nose An elegant combnation of black and red fruits with hints of choc mint that are the hallmark of the Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Shiraz Merlot blend Black olive and black currents dominate the nose but are subtlety supported by raspberry rhubarb and well integrated oak Palate The palate is filled with vibrant black olive and choc mint Cabernet notes and subtle Shiraz and Merlot notes of red liquorice and blood plums Well integrated oak tannins add elegant structure and complexity Resulting in a bright well balanced wine which is very versatile and suits many different foods
