WINERY INFORMATION Wirra Wirra sources fruit from a combination of owned vineyards and premium McLaren Vale growers The blend of an individual vineyard and sub-regional characteristics is the key to the resulting style Blended from a diverse combination of old vine McLaren Vale sites - typically ow in vigour producing modest yields of intense fruit Soils range from red clay and limestone to deep sands over ironstone base TASTING NOTES Vivid crimson with vibrant deep red hue Perfumed forest berries cherries and raspberries with freshly tilled earth rose petals nutmeg and ginger spice The palate displays a spectrum of fruits including cherries raspberries and blueberries The bright fruits provide a lovely mid-palate fleshiness with the fruit being supported by fine savoury tannins and waves of spice Whilst attractive and easy to drink now grenache ages beautifully and this wine will continue to develop over the next 4 to 12 years
