WINERY INFORMATION Windowrie is a boutique winery producing flavoursome organic wines using fruits harvested from their vineyards in Cowra NSW The O Dea family has been managing the company since 1959 when David and Wizz purchased the estate The family established their own vineyard in 1987 withan initial plantation of 60 acres By 1991 the company rapidly expanded it to 150 acres nbsp TASTING NOTES The Mill Shiraz features a purple-red colour with a crimson haze The fragrant nose exhibits scintillating aromas of plum cherry pepper and spice The soft palate packs intense dark berry and plum flavours These aromas and flavours are supported by French oak and fine tannins altogether leading to a balanced and satisfying finish Drink this full-bodied Shiraz with slow braised beef or cheese platters
