Being a part of the Hardy winemaking dynasty, winemaking is in Andrew Hrdy’s blood. He began working with founder Brian Croser at Petaluma in 1982, and now his role is ‘custodian of the vineyards’. Over vintage he works closely with the viticulture team, travelling to every region and every vineyard tasting the grapes and determining when they’re ready to pick.
