Winery Overview Rumours is a relaxed and approachable wine range from Warburn Estate. The label is all about everyday enjoyment, fresh flavours and value, so you dont need to wait for a special occasion to open a bottle. Region amp Vintage Conditions The 2023 vintage enjoyed favorable ripening with ool mornings and warm days, which helped the fruit retain freshness and clarity. The vineyards are located in South Eastern Australia and are managed to produce clean, flavour-driven grapes. Source Grapes are selected from small parcels of vines in the region, grown to low yields to capture strong fruit character and excellent value. Winemaking This Chardonnay is fermented and matured in stainless steel to preserve its crispness and primary fruit flavours. The result is a clean, bright wine thats ready to drink and doesnt rely on heavy oak or over-work. Tasting Notes Appearance Pale straw with a lemon hue. Aroma White stone fruit, fresh lime and a hint of citrus zest. Palate Flavours of ripe peach, melon and subtle guava, balanced by fresh acidity and a clean finish. Finish Crisp, refreshing and easy to enjoy with lingering fruit brightness.
