Tyrrells Hunter Valley Semillion is sourced from a small selection of their favourite Semillon blocks, the grapes were both hand and machine picked before gentle pressing nd fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine then spent a few months on yeast lees to gain extra complexity and mouth feel. Size: 750ml Alcohol: 11% A lifted nose showing citrus freshness, the palate continues with fresh citrus and concentrated grapefruit flavours. The palate is light to medium bodied with a perfect balance of fruit and soft acid. In a vintage of this quality, all of their Semillon ended up with an “A” grade and which theyr are incredibly pleased with the release of this Hunter Valley Semillon, easily their best yet The 2017 Semillon vintage was one of the best in recent memory and has produced wines of the highest quality. Solid rains in winter and spring meant the vines had constant access to water and the warmer weather in the new year meant all of the fruit was in near perfect condition and ripeness when it was harvested.
