WINERY INFORMATION Managed by reputed viticulturists Brett and Linda Keeping Two Rivers is a flourishing vineyard nestled on the banks of the Goulburn and Hunter rivers The winemaking team produces an award-winning portfolio of fresh and aromatic wines marketed under the Two Rivers and Reserve rnges The name of this dazzling Merlot was derived from the winter mist that blankets the vineyard site during cold frosty mornings TASTING NOTES The grapes used to craft this beautiful Merlot were crushed and then left on skins for fermentation After being aged in American and French oak barrels Winter rsquo s Mist Merlot presents a medium ruby red colour A swirl of the glass reveals mesmerising aromas of tomato bush and dried spice The medium bodied palate is full of ripe plum and mulberry flavours coupled with subtle oak notes Velvety tannins integrate with these characters to culminate in a rich and smooth finish This alluring red wine from Two Rivers Wines is a great food accompaniment to charcuterie braised chicken and Gouda cheese
