In 1845, J.G Scholz arrived in the Barossa and took up land now known as The Willows. More than 160 years on 7th generation brothers Spencer & Jack Scholz crafted this wine from Grenache & Shiraz. The fruit was selected from vineyard planted in 1969 by 5th generation descendents of `JG`, and was fermented in open fermenters and basket pressed prior to 12 months maturation in older American Oak barrels.
