We’re not messing around when we say that this shiraz comes from one of the Barossa’s (Eden being part of the Barossa) most exciting and progressive producers. The wine packs in all the drive, complexity and dark fruit you’d expect, yet also achieves compelling texture by way of fine tannins ad layered secondary characteristics. Perhaps that’s the magic woven by the producer or perhaps that’s the result of a vineyard that was planted over 160 years ago. There’s the comfort of blackberry, plum and cedar of course, but dig a little deeper and you’ll find cinnamon, menthol and baking chocolate. This might just be the most elegant and sophisticated way to give your teeth that classic shiraz-purple tint.
