Too often all sauv blanc is lumped into the same category. Truth is the grape expresses itself quite differently depending on where it is grown. Adelaide Hills savvy bee tends to have bright fruit, though not as tropical as that of the Kiwi variety. It also has some structure, but not the austere stucture found in wines from Sancerre. You could call it your Goldilocks style. And speaking of gold, this one boasts a trophy and a gold medal. Not too shabby we think! It’s zesty with notes of grapefruit and passionfruit, finishing with crisp citrus acidity that carries the texture for ages. All in all, it’s just right!
