WINERY INFORMATION Originally built in 1886 Rutherglen Estates rsquo cellar door is located on Drummond Street in Rutherglen Victoria It was home to Seppelt Wines for over a century The company was founded in 1996 and the first vines were planted just a year later The state-of-the-art winerywas constructed in 2001 The estate was acquired by the present owners in 2013 TASTING NOTES The grapes used to craft Sticky Sparkly amp Spritzy Muscat were harvested crushed and then left on skins The juice obtained was fortified with neutral spirit and matured in oak barrels This process led to the creation of a straw yellow hue accompanied by a gold rim This delicious Muscat offers mesmerising aromas and flavours of toffee caramel butterscotch raisin nuts and dried fruit These characters fuse together on the sweet palate ending the wine in a luscious and captivating finale With a cellaring potential of 5 years this stunning Muscat tastes great as an aperitif or served with chocolates For a sublime sweet treat put the wine bottle in the freezer and serve over ice cream when thick and syrupy topped with chopped praline nbsp
