Semillon is undoubtedly the #1 white variety in the Hunter Valley - and for good reason, as this 2014 Black Label offering shows. It has delicate floral flavours and ample mid palate weight, making the wine very approachable in its youth with a flavour profile of fresh limes and citrus balanced by cisp, cleansing acidity. Of course, like all classy Hunter Semillon, it will only get better with age and will drink well until 2019.
