In the mid 1800s Pierre Groult starting distilling the family cider to produce Calvados. By 1893 the vision paid off with the first gold medal being awarded helping the distillery gain a reputation around Normandy. 5 generations on Jean Roger Groult continues the family tradition. A blend of casks rom the third generations Calvados (1905-1988) the Reserve du Clos is an extremely rare blend with only 250 bottles produced. Intense yet smooth and mellow its vanilla stewed apples in a glass.
