WINERY INFORMATION Rochford is a family owned vineyard and winery located on Maroondah Highway in Coldstream Victoria The winery owns a total of 3 lush vineyards in the picturesque Yarra Valley region The Rochford winemaking team specialises in the production of an outstanding range of handcraftd wines that showcase the unique terroir characteristics of their in-house vineyards nbsp TASTING NOTES The Chardonnay grapes used to produce Isabella s Vineyard Blanc de Blanc were handpicked and whole bunch pressed The resulting blend displays a pale straw hue with fine bubbles stemming from the glass A whiff of the wine presents scintillating aromas of brioche almond lemon curd and white flower The palate is taut filled with freshly cut apple and citrus flavours balanced by subtle acidity These wonderful fragrances and flavours fuse together to culminate the wine in a delicate and lively finish This sparkling white wine from Rochford has the potential to be cellared for a decade It tastes excellent served either as an aperitif or with smoked salmon foie gras terrine and roasted chicken nbsp
