WINERY INFORMATION Situated in the scenic Yarra Valley region Rochford Wines is a family owned vineyard amp winery estate incorporating various facilities ndash cellar door and shop restaurant amphitheatre pavilion and lakeside deck The estate is renowned for its lip-smacking food elegan wines and its contribution to wine tourism ndash both local as well as international TASTING NOTES Handpicked crushed and pressed with full solids the juicy grapes used to craft Latitude Chardonnay were some of the warmest harvests on record The wine shows a pale straw hue with fine aromatics of pear and struck match coming off the bouquet The palate presents tight and clean natural acidity balancing citrus and stone fruit with nuances of spicy oak almond meal and pear evident in the backdrop The creamy palate texture provides excellent length leading to an acidic finish This wine has a short-term cellaring potential It tastes marvellous with pan roasted salmon served with Salsa Verde nbsp
