The excellent 2013 vintage conditions, cool summer and dry moderate autumn were perfect for the early ripening Merlot. We selected fruit from our Johnston Prolific block, Canine vineyard and from an exceptional growers block on Range Road. To maintain istinctive varietal characters the wine was matured in seasoned French and American Oak.
