This pinot inspires a love/hate relationship in me. I love the bright juicy fruit with the gentle earthiness and soft, easy tannin. I hate that a dozen sounds like enough, and then by week three you’re down to your last bottle. Be warned, mofo. You will definitely notice your friend swinging by more often once they’ve quaffed a glass or two of this with you. It’s just deliciously easy drinking, and made by a living Yarra legend. Bright cherries and strawberries, with just a sparkle of tannin for shape. It’s not Grand Cru Burgundy, it’s way more yummy.
