Ocho Tequila Anejo

$149.00 See retailers & vintages

An Anejo Tequila from the guys at Ocho. From the 'La Latilla' estate, this expression shows baked fruit and caramel notes, with peppery spice and herbal, agave character. A beautiful sipping Tequila. Ocho Tequila is the product of a partnership between Tomas Estes and Carlos Camarena. The Camarena Fmily have been making Tequila since 1937, with Carlos being the third generation of Tequilero. Ocho Tequila is produced exclusively from Agave from Carlos and Tomas' own fields, and crafted in small-batches to ensure quality and consistency across each distillation. After distillation, the Ocho Anejo expression is aged in ex-bourbon barrels fro 1 year. The resulting Tequila is rounded and sweet, with lovely caramel tones and fruit notes, mixed with herbal notes and freshly cracked pepper. Definitely a Tequila for sipping and quiet contemplation.
