WINERY INFORMATION Established in 2006 the Nashwauk wine estate is located in the Seaview sub-region of McLaren Vale The owners of Kaesler Wines bought their 20-hectare property on Neill Road in 2005 to produce their first wine range outside the Barossa Valley region Winemakers Stephen Dew and eid Bosward ensure that the fruits used are sourced from old vine plantings at the estate nbsp TASTING NOTES The fruit used to craft Nashwauk Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested handpicked and left on skins for 11 days Post-maturation in French oak the resulting wine displays a dark cherry color The perfumed nose exhibits lively aromas of chocolate mint red berries and leafy Cabernet characters The medium-bodied palate packs luscious flavours of blackberry and raspberry accompanied by light hints of violets and cassis These exquisite aromas and flavors fuse with fine and chalky tannins ending this full flavoured red wine in a long and elegant finish This enticing Cabernet has been crafted to be enjoyed fresh and young but can also be relished within a cellaring period of 5 to 8 years It tastes amazing with meatballs roasted duck breast and chimichurri nbsp
