Mystery 96 Point Shiraz

$197.94

You know what is great about Barossa Shiraz like this? Everything. Seriously, if you like Barossa Shiraz and don't enjoy this red then it might be time to breakup. We're sorry, it's all over. This is officially 'the goods'. This Shiraz is sourced from a single block planted in one of the higherparts of the Barossa, and based on very old clones. What's more, the winemaker comes from a famous Barossa winemaking family - real wine royalty. Gee it's serious booze too, with a smorgasbord of critics gushing about the quality. Think 96 points from James Halliday, 95 points Tony Keys and 93 points from Campbell Mattinson. Open fermented and matured in only older oak in a bid to enhance the fruit vibrancy, this was described by one critic as 'liquid beauty' with another wishing that 'if only more Barossa Shiraz could taste and feel like this'. Red - Shiraz and Blends - Shiraz
