VINEYARD Mt Jagged Vineyard was first established and planted in 1989 on the site of an old dairy with the cellar door being the converted old milking shed nbsp In 2013 Tod and Suzanne Warmer acquired Mt Jagged Wines after a major life-style sea change With their hands on approach they can be fond in the cellar door or in the vineyard providing visitors with their personal insights to vineyard life and where their wines come from WINEMAKING Our 2014 released wines have all been named after flora species found within the Mt Jagged Wines wetlands and are indigenous to the Southern Fleurieu nbsp Situated at 320 metres above sea level Mt Jagged Vineyard enjoys the low yielding cool climate of the Southern Fleurieu allowing the fruit to ripen slowly developing an abundance of intense and complex characters TASTING NOTES Palate A spicy dark berry fruit nose combines with a palate of vanilla chocolate and hints of cigar box to create an elegant integrated wine
