WINERY INFORMATION Born and brought up in a reputed family of wine producers Jason Brown always wanted to produce his own range of expressive wines During his years as a wine retailer he also developed an interest for premium and elegant wines In 2002 he started looking for a vineyard to fulfi his winemaking dreams Two years later he purchased Moppity Vineyards in Hilltops Southern NSW with the help and support of his wife Alecia nbsp TASTING NOTES The handpicked grapes used for creating this Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon were cool fermented on skins and aged in French barriques for 14 months This beautiful Cab Sauv displays a deep ruby colour The attractive bouquet emits bold scents of currants cherries black fruits and floral violet with hints of liquorice evident in the backdrop The robust and seamless palate is layered with flavours of liquid cassis spice oak graphite and red and black fruits Fine acidity and supple tannins combine with these lovely characters to provide a great structure ending in a long finish Try this delicious red wine from Moppity Vineyards with bacon cheeseburger herbed lamb kabobs and bittersweet chocolate nbsp
