WINERY INFORMATION Moppity Vineyards was established in the year 1973 In 2004 Jason Brown acquired the property with the help and support of his wife Alecia As a skilled winemaker Jason ensures that the individual flavours and characteristics of each vineyard site are reflected in the wines he company owns a total of 170 acres of vineyard land considered one of the largest in the region TASTING NOTES The luscious grapes used to create this dazzling Cabernet Sauvignon were harvested cold soaked and then fermented for 12 days The juice obtained was aged in French barriques and hogsheads for 12 months resulting in a deep red hued wine accompanied by a dark haze A whiff of the wine reveals complex scents of violets cassis fruit cedary oak dried herbs and crushed blackberries These fragrances make way for an intense palate brimming with generous fruit flavours supported by fine and supple tannins The finale is elegant and generous This stylish Moppity Estate Cabernet pairs best with sticky barbecued beef ribs roasted vegetable tarts and Cheddar cheese nbsp
