Winemaker Emma Lowe and viticulturist Marcelo Nunez developed their winemaking skills on both sides of the Pacific Ocean –in New Zealand and Chile. They have used these skills to pioneer the wine growing district of Crownthorpe in Hawke’s Bay, establishing their stunning vineyard and inery on the banks of the Ngaruroro River where they craft outstanding premium cool-climate wines.This is a rich burgundy red wine with ripe berry fruit aromas complimented by spicy undertones. Smooth tannins support the ripe fruit flavours on the palate with hints of spice adding a layer of complexity. A delicate balance of acidity and tannin make this a wine which will age gracefully.
