WINERY INFORMATION Winemaker Peter Logan started Logan Wines with Mal his late father in 1997 Peter rsquo s wife - Hannah joined the company as its Marketing Manager a couple of years before the two got married Now the General Manager Hannah supervises everything - from the distinctive labelsof different wine ranges to Logan rsquo s award-winning tasting room Weemala is an Aboriginal word that means lsquo good view rsquo after which the Weemala range is named TASTING NOTES Weemala Riesling shows a very pale yellow colour upon being poured into a glass This beautiful varietal offers strong aromas of orange blossom and mandarin from its perfumed nose These citrus fragrances give way to a minerally palate containing lime and iced tea flavours As the juicy and dry core reveals itself a slate-like acidity gracefully balances the refreshing flavours Further enhanced by a little spritzy freshness the palate culminates in a long finish Team up this Riesling with classic Swiss cheese fondue pan fried whole trout or spring chicken fricassee
