WINERY INFORMATION Laurel Bank Wines in Granton Tasmania was founded by Kerry Carland in 1986 The vineyards sit on layered black clay sandy loam sandstone floaters and orange clay soils that are moderately sloped north with a view of the Derwent River The area enjoys a cool maritime climate tht nurtures the Pinot Noir Sauvignon Blanc Riesling and other varieties planted in the vineyards TASTING NOTES This Riesling offers a fresh floral bouquet and a refreshing and zesty palate that features lemon zest and lime This stunning wine has finesse and elegance that makes it pleasant to drink It is a balanced wine that has a long and lingering crisp finish Enjoy this Riesling on a balmy night with these satisfying food pairings salmon tuna spicy foods and sweet desserts
