Shiraz Mataro and Grenache have provided inspiration for the Barossa since the 1840s When blended together they are responsible for some of the great wines of the world and have stood the test of time with a proven pedigree over the past 200 years Maturation in seasoned oak for twelve months ensues we don rsquo t overpower the fruit and spice retaining the finesse Colour Medium depth crimson with purple hues Aroma Lifted fresh and bright fruit leaps out of the glass with dark cherries Satsuma plum and blueberries dominating the aroma with subtle hints of chocolate and white pepper Palate The bright and juicy fruit coats the palate and is well balanced with peppery and sweet spice Medium bodied in structure with good complexity and lovely silky tannins which flow through the fruitful and spicy finish
