If you follow the Argentine wine scene at all, you’ll know the name Catena. Laura Catena is the fourth generation of the family to grow malbec and La Posta is one of her side projects. So we’re already starting with wine royalty here. This is a blend of fruit from several of Lauraâ€s vineyards, working towards a stylish, bright and fresh malbec that shows off what Mendoza can produce. It’s full of cherry, chocolate and spice, but the tannins are quite soft, hinting at a wine that’s ready to drink now.
