Like many Italians of the era, Salvador Fazzio immigrated from Sicily to Argentina back in 1917. His son Francisco planted a 15 hectare vineyard in 1955 in Tupungato, part of the Valle de Uco in Mendoza. Domingo Fazzio, the third generation of this family’s Argentine story, now tends the vineyard.It sits at 1100 metres with a soil composition of loam over alluvial stones and borders its water source, the Tunas River.
