WINERY INFORMATION Family owned Konrad Wines is managed by the Hengstler family ndash Konrad and his wife Sigrun as well as their sons Carlo and Conrad They established their first vineyard in 1996 and before long were the proud owners of two vineyards spanning a total area of 40 hectares Thir prime focus is on the quality of each bottle of wine produced TASTING NOTES The fruit for this elegant Riesling was sourced from the family rsquo s Waihopai Valley vineyard This dry Riesling shows a pale yellow colour with light green hues Its fragrant nose exhibits red toffee apple limey citrus and tropical fruit aromas The dry and balanced palate features spice toffee and orange peel flavours leading to a satisfactory and pleasing climax This magnificent white wine varietal can be consumed fresh upon release and also be cellared for a period of 2 to 4 years It matches well with grilled seafood Asian cuisine and roast duck salad nbsp
