The Pfalz region of Germany is in the south, and is a bit warmer than the Mosel - hence the region tends to push out richer, riper wine styles. The wine is certainly a fleshier style of PG, with aromas of nashi pears, red apples and ginger spice on the nose. The palate is more medium-bodied and relaively dry, with ripe fruit flavours, bright acidity, and a plush, bright finish. Would be great with a fisherman's basket. White - Pinot Gris and Blends - Pinot Gris
