One each of the following wines are included in this case: 2018 Chateau Auzias IGP CitÃƒÆ’Ã†â€™Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â© de Carcassonne Chardonnay: Celebrating the city of Carcassonne, this is Chardonnay based with a twist of Sauvignon Blanc for variety. The joy here is all about texture, with the full flush of ripe fruit complemented by fragrant Sauvignon Blanc, the two very different varieties working together to add flavour and fragrance. 2019 Morgan's Reserve Chardonnay: Out of the Adelaide Hills, this elegant Chardonnay is the latest in the line from the Morgan's Vineyard label, which has provided so many delicious (and reliable) wines in recent years. It's a fresh and vibrant white that trades on gentle peachy fruit instead of oak, the style approachable, crisp, easy. A moreish modern Chardonnay that anyone can appreciate. 2018 Winemaker's Selection Yarra Chardonnay: Charles Smedley knows how to make cool and clever modern Chardonnay, and he has turned out something clever with this white. Made exclusively for us, it has the perfect balance the 2017 vintage is renowned for, and with enough fruit and flavour to have you coming back for a second glass (or more). 94 points - Sam Kim. 95 points - The Wine Collective. 2019 Tyrrell's 1858 Hunter Valley Chardonnay: This Tyrrell's 1858 Hunter Valley Chardonnay is an archetypal wine, with a beautiful mix of toasty oak, peach fruit and mouthwatering acidity, the push towards freshness and energy, but not without losing that trademark Hunter Valley Chardonnay generous fruit. Cinderella-like, this is so stylish and modern, but there's still the classic Hunter Valley richness too. 93 Points - The Wine Collective. 2018 Montvalley Chardonnay: A creamy nuttiness on the nose is combined with ripe melons, peaches and a zesty waft of flint. The palate finely integrates caramelised stone fruits and almondy oak. 94 Points - The Wine Collective. 2018 Coppabella Procella II Chardonnay: From the ultra cool climes of Tumbarumba in the NSW Snowy Mountains, this delicate and ultra fine Chardonnay is such a pretty wine, with precision and perfectly formed, acid-etched lines. A complex wine with layers of zingy grapefruit, white apple, nectarine and toast. The generous palate is in perfect tension with the tight, mineral acidity.
