WINERY INFORMATION In existence since 1984 and located in Marananga the vineyards of Heritage Wines in Barossa Valley are nurtured carefully by owner and established winemaker Steve Hoff and his wife Christine The historic village of Marananga has been acclaimed to produce Barossa rsquo s fines wines for more than a century Heritage Wines being a South Australian winery is well known for producing exceptional quality wines that have an emphasis on the regional fruit sourced from their 20-acre estate TASTING NOTES Made from 100 Shiraz grapes from Marananga amp Greenock this intensely coloured and flavoursome wine shows syrupy blackberry and spice notes on the bouquet The full-bodied palate features toasty oak and sweet fruit What adds to the character of this Heritage Shiraz is its twelve-month maturation in American oak barriques which bring a subtle depth to this wine Heritage Barossa Shiraz will reward with 8 years of cellaring It ideally pairs well with roast lamb or a rare rump steak nbsp
