WINERY INFORMATION Henry rsquo s Drive Vignerons is a family owned and operated wine company established by Kim and Mark Longbottom In 1992 Mark and Kim selected best sites of their family property for planting their first vines The winemaking team produces premium full flavoured wines using bends of fruit parcels sourced from their three lush vineyard sites in the Padthaway valley The company presently owns nearly 250 acres of vineyard planted with Chardonnay Merlot Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes nbsp TASTING NOTES The fruit for creating Henry s Drive H Syrah was harvested from the family vineyards and then barrel fermented The wine showcases a dark plum colour with vibrant crimson shades lurking throughout A whiff of the wine offers intense aromas of rhubarb elderberries and pink peppercorns The mouth watering palate contains flavours of plums sage and black olive ending the wine in an enticing finish Suggested food pairings for this delightful red wine include Moroccan-spiced lamb and charcuterie platter nbsp
