WINERY INFORMATION Winemaking This is the main white grape variety from Piedmont North West Italy which is famous for its reds - Barolo and Barbaresco Nebbiolo The soils in which it grows are typically gravelly which makes a wine that is very flavour full with great minerality Our Arneis graes were picked at a very low yield of less than 1kg per vine after a hot summer producing ripe fruit TASTING NOTES An expressive and aromatic summer wine bursting with notes of tropical fruit pear wild herbs and ripe stonefruits Supported by a strong mineral backbone the palate explodes with crisp flavours of Williams pear Granny Smith apples and quince Refreshing with a crisp finish which resonates endlessly If you favour the primary fruit aromas and beautiful fragrance we suggest drinking this wine in its youth Ideal as a pre-dinner drink and also a great match for antipasto and fish Cellaring Potential up to 5 years
