Beautiful, just beautiful stuff. It takes me right back to tasting exotic berries for the first time. Loganberries come to mind. Karel said mulberries. Loganberries and mulberries, tasted as they’re being made into jam n the giant aluminium pot mum used to use, not totally sugared yet, with some blackcurrants, a lick of vanilla, some exotic spice. A bit of chinotto-like citrusy bitterness. Lovely balance and freshness, layered but complete and velvety. Does the variety (and Sicily, the variety’s homeland) very proud. Nice one Team Geoff.
