Hand-selected from very special bush vines that were planted in the early 30s, this wine comes from a favourite producer of ours. Grown on a single vineyard, it seems nothing but quality has come out of this plot of land. Vinification in a small open-top fermenter, maturation for 15 months and bottlng unfiltered makes this old-vine grenache complex and richly flavoured. Think dark cherry, cranberry, chocolate and seasoned smoked meats when taking a sip and let the natural chalky tannins take over your mouth. This wine is one that deserves maximum attention!
