'Coming from the same stable as Kooyong Estate, you can tell this wine means business, and winemaker Sandro Moselle certainly shows it with this fantastic Pinot Noir. Grapes are sourced from just over 5 hectares of vines in the amphitheatre shaped Red Hill vineyard in the Mornington Peninsula. The col climate and deep red loam soils of the region are perfect for quality Pinot production, and the proof is in the glass; a tightly packed mix of strawberry, red cherry and mulberry, which opens up after a few minutes to reveal more savoury notes of cured meats, game and turned earth.
