WINERY INFORMATION Chandon Wines offers an excellent portfolio of premium and elegant wines showcasing its unique French winemaking heritage The winery was established in 1986 at Green Point - an old dairy farm in the Yarra Valley region Founder Robert-Jean de Vog uuml eacute started the wine band to experiment the production of excellent sparkling wines outside the French terroir nbsp nbsp TASTING NOTES This enticing Chardonnay presents a pale straw colour accompanied by a green rim The fragrant nose gives off pleasing scents of stone fruit cinnamon and oatmeal The delicate palate is rife with vibrant flavours of lime nectarine and ripe melon balanced by zingy acidity These beautiful aromas and flavours end the wine in a long and captivating finale marked by subtle biscuit and flint notes This delicious white wine has the potential to be cellared for eight years tasting marvellous with foods like prawn and pork dumplings fried quail wrapped in prosciutto and pear walnut and goat cheese salad nbsp
