WINERY INFORMATION Founder Joseph Osborn rsquo s association with winemaking began in 1881 when he joined Thomas Hardy Limited as Company Secretary In 1894 he was even appointed as the Director of Hardy rsquo s Sons after the company was renamed Thomas Hardy and Sons In 1912 Joseph sold his sable of victorious horses to purchase the Bundarra property The estate was later named d rsquo Arenberg after the maiden name of Helena d rsquo Arenberg Frank Osborn rsquo s wife nbsp nbsp TASTING NOTES d Arenberg The Noble Prankster is a beautiful fusion of 10 Viognier and 30 Semillon grapes with 60 Chardonnay grapes The resulting blend features a bright yellow hue with golden shades lurking throughout The fragrant nose is perfumed with scintillating aromas of lime lemon exotic spice bruised orange and botrytis notes A sip of the wine reveals citrus toffee beeswax meadow flower candied ginger and loam-like flavours These flavours and fragrances are balanced by fine acidity offering an opulent and lively mouthfeel The finale is lithe and captivating This stunning white blend can either be enjoyed in its youth or cellared for a few years to enhance its toasty and dried fruit characters Drink it with foods like biscotti and peach melba nbsp
