WINERY INFORMATION Cumulus Estate Wines owns massive vineyards with a total land area of 508 hectares in the cool climate region of Orange NSW The winery can produce 10 000 tonnes and can store 8 million liters of wine With the Portuguese-based Berardo family joining the original founders and brnging in a wealth of expertise and knowledge in 2007 Cumulus Estate Wines became an even more formidable force in the Australian wine industry Currently the outfit distributes their deluxe wine ranges to over 20 countries including USA Canada China Singapore Hong Kong and some European countries TASTING NOTES The Block 50 wine range is composed of wine varieties produced from the prime vineyard blocks in the estate Block 50 Pinot Grigio shows a pale straw colour with a rim of copper when poured in a wine glass It exudes green apple and ripe pear aromas With every sip you rsquo ll be satisfied with good weight of fruit on the palate coupled with natural acidity that gives the wine a tight structure and a long and pleasant finish It is best to drink this wine while it is still fresh and young It can be served as an aperitif or paired with vegetarian dishes and seafood
