WINERY INFORMATION As a student Lindsay Corby pursued viticulture and winemaking in the 80s With a determination to learn the intricacies of the wine world Lindsay crammed up everything there was to know about wines Years later he is now a qualified winemaker viticulturist lecturer and businssman His Cosmo Wines is known for producing elegant and sophisticated wines TASTING NOTES Cosmo Shiraz has been awarded two Bronze medals in 2015 ndash one at Yarra Valley Wine Show and the other at lsquo le 25th Concours de Vins de Victoria rsquo This classic Shiraz has a vibrant red colour with aromas of pepper spice dark chocolate and clove coming off the bouquet along with developing notes of licorice and a faint minerality Its finish is delicate and smooth on the palate Shiraz is a versatile wine and can be paired with a host of culinary delights like spicy Indian cuisines and game meats
