WINERY INFORMATION All fruit is estate grown 2014 was another warm and dry year for Margaret River Almost perfect warm days and cooler nights typified what we expect Then Autumn bought cooler days and nights which lengthened our vintage and just allowed the reds to ripen that little bit more Ths was perfect for the Cabernet and the Petit Verdot Later picks with favourable weather conditions round out tannins and add fruit weight TASTING NOTES Deep ruby red Densely packed nbsp An elegant and complex wine Aromas shift through the red fruits black cherry spectrum A touch of violets kalamata olives and freshly ground coffee sit nicely with the subtle smoky French oak notes nbsp A truly elegant wine A complete palate - fruit fills the mid palate and the fine tannins carry this fruit seamlessly adding a wonderful line and the soft acid adds succulence Each mouthful reveals a new element - is it black cherry or a fresh red plum or fruits of the forest wrapped in an ethereal blanket of cocoa and cedar It just keeps on giving this is one of our best yet
